Thursday 3 October 12:00 - 12:30, Small Talks room
Jeannette Jarvis (Cyber Threat Alliance), Selena Larson (Proofpoint), Jeanette Miller-Osborn (Netwitness), Kathi Whitbey (Palo Alto Networks Unit 42)
Achtung!! This panel takes inspiration from the titles of U2 songs to guide our discussion on Achtung Baby! Cybersecurity Insights with You Too.
The digital battleground is a constant 'Race Against Time.' The conflict between cyber defenders and adversaries rages on! Where is our 'One Minute Warning?' From the emergence of AI to ever-present zero-day vulnerabilities, what key considerations should we all focus on?
As AI unlocks the unprecedented, it magnifies ethical dilemmas. Vulnerabilities exploited by malevolent actors before detection demand swift and ethical responses. However, defences must not compromise individual freedoms or exacerbate digital inequities. Amidst this complex digital landscape, 'People Have the Power' as collaboration transcends national boundaries and organizational silos and empowers us to share intelligence, pool resources, and fortify defences collectively, underscoring the transformative potential of unified action.
If you 'Still Haven't Found What You're Looking For,' join us as we explore these pressing issues and share invaluable insights. You, too, can play a pivotal role in securing our digital future.
