As Aerosmith say in their song Dream On, 'you got to lose to know how to win'. This panel intends to take inspiration from the titles of Aerosmith songs to guide our discussion on exploring the community effect in cybersecurity. We’ll begin by looking at what makes us Jaded – information oversaturation, alert fatigue, and the fear that my business is next. However, I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing when it comes to exploring the threat landscape and the latest TTPs. We will discuss What it Takes to build a community of resilience and collaboration that strengthens us all. Only then can we talk about getting to The Other Side and winning more than we lose. So, let’s all Walk This Way to recruit, teach and learn together to build a strong cybersecurity community.
