Keynote address: Customers, suppliers, and the adversaries that come with them

Wednesday 3 October 10:50 - 11:30, All rooms

John Lambert (Microsoft)

Customers have adversaries. Spies, criminal gangs and nation states are the unseen followers that come with them. Likewise, their supply chain is an attractive target. It’s no longer sufficient to focus on global and regional trends to provide protection. Defenders are responding by building telemetry systems at massive scale to sift through electronic whispers to find attacks in the tail of data. They are collaborating across geographies, companies, and lines of competition. This keynote will give examples of attacks against customers and their supply chains as well as lessons for customers, defenders and security vendors.
