Inside Angler: A Deep Dive Into A Prevalent Exploit Kit and Its Activities

Angler is one of the most prolific long-term web exploit kits out there, delivering banking trojans, click fraud engines and ransomware. This talk will be an examination of the techniques used to infect victims as well as a deep dive into its malware delivery mechanism and associated malware. The techniques used for tracking this threat and other parts of the backend infrastructure will also be discussed.

This talk will also discuss the (TLP:GREEN only) activities of the industry-wide working group that is tracking this threat and working towards dismantling it.
