The Virus Bulletin Conference is about bringing together a diverse group of security professionals to help make the digital world more secure. This can only happen if everyone works together to provide an open and welcoming environment.
All VB conference attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to other attendees, both in person – during conference presentations, between sessions, and at all conference social events – and via social media.
VB aims to provide a harassment-free conference experience for everyone and does not tolerate harassment of conference attendees in any form.
Be kind to others, do not insult or put down other attendees, and behave professionally.
Attendees who are seen to be engaged in harassment or unacceptable behaviour of any kind may be asked to leave the conference, without a refund. All determinations of acceptable and/or unacceptable behaviour are at the sole discretion of the VB conference organisers.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the VB conference staff, who will deal with the situation.
If you are taking photographs during the conference please be aware that some delegates have expressed a wish not to be photographed (many VB conference delegates value their privacy; others have professional reasons to keep a low profile) - these individuals will be wearing a red lanyard as an indication that they do not wish to be photographed. Please respect their wishes.
Thank you for helping make this a welcoming, friendly event for all.
